2012 the end or not? Reasons?
You know about the whole 2012 end of the world thing. I was just wondering, is there any reasons why it is not going to happen???? Because every time the subject comes up rather on the internet or just with my friends there are hundreds of reasons why it is going to happen but none why it isn't. Everybody always just say's " Omg that's such crap" or "They said it was going to end in 2000!!!" I just wanted to know if there are any reasons or if there just saying it isn't just to keep them self from getting scared?
Not sure what you mean by "is there any reasons why it is not going to happen".
For every one of the pieces of trash that are trotted out by the dooms-sayers and uneducated about why the world will end in 2012, there is at least one valid and scientifically accurate reason why that piece of trash is just that - trash.
Trash reason why it will end in 2012: The planets will all align in 2012 and the gravitational effect will destroy the Earth.
Reason #1 why that is trash: the planets will NEVER align, so the "gravitational effect" won't occur.
Reason #2 why that is trash: even if the planets did align, since they have no effect on the Earth now, how will appearing to be in a single line from our point of view suddenly increase gravity?
Trash reason why it will end in 2012: The planet Nibiru will approach close to the Earth and destroy us.
Reason #1 why that is trash: there is no planet Nibiru.
Reason #2 why that is trash: if Nibiru did exist and was going to come close to the Earth in 2012 we would have seen it in our skies by now - the entire planet would be able to see it as a bright disk in the sky every night.
Trash reason why it will end in 2012: The sun will line up with galactic centre and the energy of the galactic centre will disrupt the sun's magnetic field and destroy us.
Reason #1 why that is trash: the sun lines up with the galactic centre (from our point of view) every year on the December solstice.
Reason #2 why that is trash: how can energy from the galactic centre, 26,000 light years away and hidden behind clouds of dust and gas, suddenly affect us if the sun aligns with the centre?
Get the idea? Behind every piece of trash that makes up the pile of horse-puckey that is this hoax, there are scientific facts to disprove it.

Whats the point of that,I mean y2k didnt happen
People love a good conspiracy theory.
Cause other than the sun going red giant, or the Milky Way colliding with M32, the only sure threat to Earth is the way most humans behave.
Most of those causing the problems and hellish living conditions here, hope that a type of end of world scenario happens because they think it'll mean they don't have to pay for all the evils they have done. Paradoxically, they of course deserve their end to come ASAP.
But then they'll find that they still exist after they die, and they will have to answer to everything they put off dealing with while on Earth.
Which is why they are purposely trying to do what happened on Easter Island over the whole planet, as they believe if they can bring everyone down to their base survival-of-the-worst kind of world they have going, then the chaos and constant war will also enable them to get away without paying for what they've done;
they're evil, so they think that if whatever reminds them they are evil isn't there, then they don't have to exist according to the fact that they are evil.
