end of the world scenarios Don't people seem to like the end of the world scenario?
Almost like they can't wait for it to happen, and each and everyone seems to have a different way for ending the world. Meteorites, CHL, Aliens, Global Warming, Magnetism switch between earths poles, etc.
Even the movie world is hype about it these days. I think it will not happen soon anyway. Do you see the sudden surge in it?
I'm completely sure the world is not going to end tomorrow. It's just too good to be true. Although, yeah, i wish it did.

I'm personally partial to the more esoteric ones, such as q-collapse and changing of "fundamental constants". How about you?
My current favourite is the following:
scientists create a tiny black hole in the laboratory and due to a power failure of the trap, it drops to the center of the earth, where it starts swallowing up the core.
Slowly at first, it´s small after all, and then faster ans faster as it grows. In the end the earth collapses and all what is left is another asteroid belt.
