why does everyone think the world is ending in 2012?


latley i've been hearing soooo much about "the end of the world". scientific theories, biblical theories...which by the way didn't god say he'd come at an hour no one knows? so if we all know its 2012 wouldn't he obviously change the date? what do you guys think? it's actually starting to freak me out.

"Everyone" does not believe that. Only silly, superstitious, gullible people believe that.

Don't worry about it. The end of the world has been being predicted for thousands of years. All those predictions have been wrong. Why should this one be any different? In fact, there are predictions the world will end in 2017, 2020, 2022, 2025 etc. Hard for it to end more than once!

Does anyone else think that Sarah Maier is a potential future World & Olympic champion?


I think she is a fantastic figure skater. She has beautiful choreography and expression, and she looks exactly like the great Ukranian rhythmic gymnast, Anna Bessonova. I think Sarah Maier of Switzerland could be the 2010 Olympic champion. Does anyone else think the same?
Oh yes, I do love her spins -- she looks like a graceful ballerina performing in swan lake whenever she perfroms her spin combinations. Her body posture and the softness of her expression is just so beautiful to watch, personifying elegance at its best. I agree that she needs to work on her jumps a little cos sometimes it gets a little scraggy and lose slight while rotating in the air. But she is just such a confident, elegant, beautiful skater. Did she fall in her free prg at Euros cos I see that Carolina Kostner has won it, and I know Maier was leading after the short.

Yeah Sarah Meier definitely have a lot potential. I love her spins! Simply beautiful dont you think so? She is one of the best spinners in the world. She has to work on some of her jumps though but on the whole she is a strong contender for the 2010 Olympic gold.

Unveiling the future World Trade Center



What time does the Epcot Food & Wine Festival start on 9/26/08? Is it less crowded in future world?


My family is visiting WDW 9/24-9/29 and want to visit Epcot on 9/26, but it's the first day of the festval. Can we avoid the crowds by staying in future world?

The World Showcase opens at 11A.M. most days. Advise: No matter which park that you go to in Disney World, the best way to avoid the crowds is to get to the park at least 30 minutes before the park opens. Go directly to the ride that you most want to see first. Then directly to the next on your list, and so on until it gets crowded. The most popular rides in Epcot are Soarin', Test Track,Mission Space & Nemo/Living Seas. Save Spaceship Earth (The big ball) for later in the day. You will not have to wait. Use the Fastpass system. Don't avoid the World Showcase, there are many interesting things there. Also. Epcot is so big that it handles crowds well. Hope you have a great time!
