Why does this book cost way more than the same book by a different seller?
on Amazon.com i was looking at the book "PREPAREDNESS NOW!: An Emergency Survival Guide for Civilians and Their Families (Paperback)" and if you look here (http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/097608225X/ref=olp_page_1?ie=UTF8&shipPromoFilter=0&startIndex=0&sort=sip&me=&condition=all) the prices are anywhere from $5.31 to $241 but by the looks of it they are the same product, anyone know why this is? which one should I buy? Why such a big price difference? Does the $241 book come with some kind of equipment or something? thanks =)
No, its some =one trying to get some idiot to think its a rare book and its worth that much. But its not. Get the cheaper one. I'd prefer to go to the library cuz then its free.

Are some Survivalists missing the point here?
I keep myself in good shape, watch what I eat, and exercise.
I hear a lot of guys at the rifle range talk about how they are ready for when society crumbles. They have lots of guns, special four wheel drive vehicles, property in the country.............and they are 30 to 100 pounds overweight.
How can you be ready for an emergency if you have no endurance, you need diabetes medicine, you can't run, you can't walk up a hill, and you can't carry anything?
I mean, this one guy was talking about all his survival equipment. And he was wheezing walking up to get his target at the hundred yard line.
Think of it as a bear storing fat for winter i suppose.
I am a borderline survivalist, comes from years of living in hurricaine territory and knowing that you need to be able to fend for yourself for awhile. I dont expect society to crumble, but am ready for a week or so of limited or no support. If the illiterate 'underprivilged' in new orleans had ever listened to the advice of being prepared and evacuation, there would have been far fewer issues. Living in hurricaine prone areas, you cant walk into a grocery store, home depot, lowes or walmart, or pick up a newspaper and not find a hurricaine checklist.
