nostradamus prophecies hitler
Nostradamus and Postdiction?
I know Nostradamuss propechies were postdicted, like the death of Henry II, but what about propechies like that of Hister? (Hitler)? Were his prophecies still postdicted after WW2, during the 20th century?
ALSO
The Great Fire of London- could that have been postdicted. He said twenty threes the six...could that have been postdicted?
HEEEELP i wanna know if hes fake im scared about Mabus and WWIII
Nostradamus wrote his “prophecies” in open-ended quatrains collected into centuries (groups of 100). These four line poems were in French and even without the inaccuracies that are inherent to translating from one language to another the quatrains themselves are vague enough that they make very little sense. It is easy to read anything you want into nonsense. It is sort of like staring at clouds. The clouds will look like whatever your imagination can come up with. The quatrain that supposedly predicts the rise of Hitler is the 24th quatrain of the 2nd century. For reference I give you the original French and a direct English translation.
Bêtes farouches de faim fleuves tranner;
Plus part du champ encontre Hister sera,
En cage de fer le grand fera treisner,
Quand rien enfant de Germain observera.
Beasts ferocious from hunger will swim across rivers:
The greater part of the region will be against the Hister,
The great one will cause it to be dragged in an iron cage,
When the German child will observe nothing.
Erika Cheetham, a famous Nostradamus proponent, chooses to translate quatrain 24 as
Beasts wild with hunger will cross the rivers,
The greater part of the battle will be against Hitler.
He will cause great men to be dragged in a cage of iron,
When the son of Germany obeys no law.
Notice the difference? First, she changes Hister to Hitler. Presumably because she does not know that Hister refers to a specific region along the Danube river. Second she chooses to insert the idea of a battle even though there is no inference of battle in the quatrain itself. She also implants a moral perspective when she changes the final line from “a German child will observe nothing” to “a son of Germany obeys no laws.” She also changes the sex of the noun enfant from the neutral “child or baby” to the masculine “son” to further add credence to her suppositions. You can do the same thing with each of his other predictions.
These predictions are text-book postdiction. Postdiction isn't simply re-writing a prediction after the fact. Postdiction is also re-interpreting vague statements that precede an event to coincide with event after it has happened. Other shenanigans are also common among Nostradamus pundits. Such as mixing and matching lines from totally different quatrains into new quatrains, altering the wording of lines or even making up quatrains whole cloth. Sometimes they perpetrate more than one falsehood at the same time. For example, these quatrains were circulating the net after 9-11 that supposedly predicted the Sept. 11th attack.
In the year of the new century and nine months,
From the sky will come a great King of Terror...
The sky will burn at forty-five degrees.
Fire approaches the great new city...
Okay, so the first two lines are alterations of Centuries X, Quatrain 72:
The year 1999, seventh month,
From the sky will come the great King of Terror
The second two lines are from Centuries VI, Quatrain 97:
At forty-five degrees the sky will burn,
Fire to approach the great new city.
There is no reference anywhere in the Centuries that specifically refer to "the new century and nine months."
One of my favorite examples of people just making stuff up and crediting it to Nostradamus is:
Come the millennium, month 12,
In the home of greatest power,
The village idiot will come forth
To be acclaimed the leader.
As you can imagine, not a single word of this nonsense was actually written by Nostradamus. So, to take a short story and make it long - it is all a bunch of crap. Believe none of it.

Nostradamus Effect: Hitler's Blood Oath - Ep. 4 Part 1/5
to Nostradamus prophecy buffs?
Why is napoleon always pointed out as the 1st antichrist? That is abolutely silly and unrealistic. What in c1.60 in any shape or form put him above any cruel king that went before?? In fact Genghis Khan would deserve the title better if he had not existed before Nostradamuses time. J.P Marat and Robespierre are better candidates why Napoleon??
In my view Hitler is definitely the 1st .In fact if Antichrist is supposed to have a specific impact on the Holyland or people then Hitler is an obvious choice for he instigated the birth of Israel, the second probably arises just before the 3rd temple is built or maybe it is built after his death and the 3rd fulfills the book of revelation chapter 13....if indeed Nostradamus mentioned 3 of these figures then doesn't that mean ,we have two more not one to go?
I would say it is because the quatrains appear to have made reference to Napoleon.
An Emperor will be born near Italy, (Napoleon was born in Corsica off the Italian coast.)
Who shall cost the empire very dearly: (Napoleon's true legacy must reflect the loss of status for France and needless deaths brought by his rule; 17 years of wars, perhaps six million Europeans dead, France bankrupt, her overseas colonies lost.)
It will be said by those who rally about him, (Napoleon gained support by appealing to some common concerns of French people.)
That he will prove less prince than butcher. (For Napoleon there could be no compromise, it was surrender or die.)
It should be noted that Napoleon shaped the political atmosphere during his reign, which may have had lasting effects into the 20th century.
Nostradamus did make frequent reference to France in his quatrains, and both he and Napoleon were French.
No one can ever be too sure when it comes to Nostradamus, but I think the "Antichrist" is walking among us.
