is the year 2012 the end of the world
Is the world really going to end in year 2012? what do you think?
Well i'm just hearing about the mayan calender and how all the natural disasters and bad events happening are leading the world into destruction.
Personally, I beleive this is not true because there are many people around the world today and we have technology (media) that informs us of what is happening in the world. And everyday there is something going wrong.
Before there was no technology and not many people in the world to inform about natural disasters. Hence a low care factor for the end of the world.
Also, wasn't that Y2k thing can someone please explain that to me.
I'm asking this question because if the world really did end on 2012 i have a very important test that i would need to be studying for. And if it did end all my hard hours spent on studying would be in vain.

I sure as hell hope NOT, I'm due to start getting 4 week's vacation starting in 2013, and. it would absolutely SUCK if I got ripped off, especially after all these years at the job from, purgatory!!

what the crap is with people and the world ending?
ok first it was y2k, then it was 2012 and 2020, and now their saying the worlds gonna end this saturday...like in 2 days. it's just like WTF! whats wrong with people! why can't people just stop freaking out about the end of the world which isn't gonna come in our life time...which isn't gonna come in probably like another million years or so. are people so bored that they need to make up dates for the end of the world and make everyone freak out? i'm sorry but this whole end of the world thing is just ridiculous! what are your thoughts about this?
Humans are crazy.
Actually, it pisses me off that Camping was able to make like 50 million dollars in donations and used the money to buy BILLBOARDS advertising the world will end tomorrow. Imagine what good have been done with that money? Imagine what humans could do if we actually took care of our society and planned for future on EARTH instead of all this stupid religious eschatology sh!t.
I am disappoint, humanity.
