Will you boycott the 2012 movie?

The movie which is about the end of the world was supposed to show both the Vatican and Mecca be destroyed. Now Sony and Roland Emmerich have chickened out, fearing for their lives, and instead of destroying one Christian and one Muslim landmark, will destroy two christian ones, the Vatican, and the Christ the redeemer statute in Rio.
I'm an atheist, but I take offense to some goat herder in Tora Bora telling me how I can live my life. It took hundreds of years of provocation of christianity to gain freedom of speech - I'm not willing to give it up that easily.
Whether you are christian, atheist, agnostic, hindu or whatever... will you please boycott this movie so we can hurt Sony financially and teach them a little something about freedom of religion and freedom of expression?
You're upset because of his choices in destruction porn? Not that the viral marketting is traumatizing children?
It's Roland Emmerich, it's not like he's made some great piece of art and now he's compromising it, he's just doing what he thinks will make the most money. And the destruction of Christian sites are going to resonate deeper with Christians. Remember, the mood is "oh no, everything we hold dear is being destroyed."
I'm not going to boycott it, I'm just not going to see that trash. Paying a hobo to hit me in the face with a shovel would be a better use of the money.
