After nothing happens in 2012, the Mayans will be cast aside and forgotten as the crackpots search for some other 'ancient prediction'. I can reveal that the long-forgotten Fakawe pygmy tribe of Africa were excellent astronomers, having cleared patches of the long grasses of their homeland in order to site their observatories. They left inscriptions which unequivocally point to the end of the world in our year 2020. Another inscription translates as: "We'd have made a lot more predictions if only we could find our way to that ^#$%£* observatory."

Will the world end in 2012?


There has been some people in the past that had predictions about when the world will end...Most of them said that the world will end in the year 2012...Does anyone believe this?? I was watching the the history channel last night and most if not all of the prediction that those men had, came true through history. What do you think??

At 2012 after Christ is not near to the time allowed for Satan from Eden.

Year 6073 now in 2007 after Christ Jesus was in Rome world Empire #6, 4419 years after flood, 3560 years after Moses began the bible, and 2613 years after Babylon world Empire #3 ended Judah kings.

Satan is allowed 6130 years to make a mess of everything, death for that long, Rev.12:3,4,6-11,12; have 1/3 angels and only God knows how many rebel humans, 1Cor.15:22-28; death and Satan Heb.2:9,14,16; will end, he's caused the heavens and the earth 2Pet.3:13; to have to be made as new as before Eden in Rev.20:1-6,12,13; no Satan 1000 years, Rev.21:1-5; so 7130 years after he began to mess it up, Jesus has it all SAVED and perfect for God, all perfect will remain.

is it really end of the world on year 2012?


if yes, how can a mere human say something extra extraordinaire? prove your answer.

A human being can't say something that extraordinary because humans can't predict the future no matter who they are.

This 2012 stuff is a scam and way to make money off of people’s fears. It maybe true that that mayan calendar ends but, it doesn't mean the world is going to end just because of that. Did you know that one of several Mayan calendars is the Long Count calendar, which is reset to day 0 every 1,872,000 days or 7057.5 years? The next reset date, by some calculations, is December 21, 2012. This is not a prediction of the end of the world and wasn’t meant to be. The Mayan Calendar has to end sometime just like other calendars. You know what is sad? People may commit suicide over this thinking its the end of the world. Or maybe some people would get unwise with their money and spend it all like crazy and be in thousands of dollars in debt, just because they thought the world would end. Then they have to pay it off later and deal with the stress of those bills. That's why those who spread rumors about 2012 should be punished and nobody could predict the future.

From my research of this 2012 stuff I found out that, Planet X (Nibiru) isn't going to hit the Earth it doesn't exist. Then second, the Earth’s magnetic poles are switching everyday, this isn't going to happen all in just 1 day. This process takes thousands of years and throughout geological history there has been may pole switches and life has still survived. Third, I hear that people are saying these poles will switch in one day due to a black hole. That's NOT true. The nearest black hole to our galaxy is 1600 light years away and we don’t have to worry. Forth, Sun will be lined up with a sunspot, but it doesn't mean it will wipe out all life on Earth. One time ago, Earth was lined up with a sunspot and people were on it and everybody didn't just die. It just disrupted radio waves and it may cause a disruption. Fifth, there is not going to be catasphoic earthquakes. Sixth of all, no coment will hit Earth or asteroids and that can’t be predicted. Seventh, these cultures such as the Japanese, Mayans, Japanese and Egyptians didn't predict such a thing. Finally, If you have been watching the Hysteria Chanel about 2012 or anything like that, all they are just trying to do is scare people so they can make money.

Each time the end the world is predicted. They are always wrong. Here are all the predictions of when the world would end and each time they where wrong. Every year there is a prediction like this. I'm sure that if 2012 doesn't happen, they will think of something else. Through out history the end has been predicted but has never happened. Also, think about this. If the Mayans were able to predict the future, why couldn't they see what would happen to their society in the future?

why do people think that "the year 2012 is the end of the world?"?


i didn't get it...why did they predict that the end is on "2012"...because they wanted to scare people? or it was just some sort of a religion that sees the year 2012 as the end of the world?

Don't worry about "2012"...nothing will happen to us...we all will have peace, freedom on that day...

What predictions have you heard for the year 2012?


The Mayan calendar ends in December 2012, and many people have read or predicted that the world is going to go through "a change" at that time. Some say the world will end then, by some catastrophe like nuclear war, a meteor, alien arrival, scary stuff like that. Others say that 2012 will signify a good change for the earth, like a spiritual awakening of some sort. Some Christians say that it will the judgment day. What have YOU heard or read?? Thanks for your answers in advance.

I heard it will end because of a zombie virus or a terrorist attack, maybe a colossal natural disaster.

any ideas of 2012 predictions?


I heard that an ancient greek guy predicted that the world will come to an end in the year 2012..
i am kinda worried because we can only live for 2 years?????
Man.. i wont to die peacefully............
but i heard that there are some scientific reasons like global warning etc.......:(

the world wont end i hope ...but PROOF well sorta with the movie 2012 the scientist said the world wont end until around 4000 and something and i think i agree because though the myan calendars predicted it they also refer to the year 4065 or something on it too..plus did they not predict the world was going to end 2000 ...that turned out so well...like really how many times can the world end...
