revelations end of the world Christians: Just because Revelations talks about the way the world will end, is it right for?
pastors to proclaim this?
for instance, pastors who support Israel (because it will be the site of Armageddon) or promoting events that could cause war.
- preaching political agenda/ ideology
- preaching against environmentalism (also against feminism)
- alluding to world leaders as the anti-christ
- defaming organisation that try to help humanity (just because they believe these organisations are the N.W.O.)
.... etc...
All because it's part of the prophetic plan and will bring us closer to the end times. Almost as if they want to bring the end times about.
Is this right to do?
@ Ling: I never implied anything. I asked the question to christians if it's right. Like, is it in line with what Jesus would teach?
In America, if we don't agree with what a pastor is preaching, we go to another pastor.
im not some wack job who stands on street corners yelling "it's the apocalypse!!" but if you've read Revelations, the end of the world seems pretty eminent. what does everyone think?
In cosmic terms it will end soon in about 5 billion years time.
revelations end of the world Do you think revelation (end of world) will come with peace in middle east?
im not asking for your religion, only your belief on the matter.
Peace in the Middle East can never be achieved without the intervention of Jesus Christ.
Scripture also reveals this. Man cannot figure it out.
The Bible actually tells us that when we think we have finally found peace.... when we think WE have finally done it and everyone is then sighing that big sigh of relief that we now have a lasting peace...all heck will break loose in our faces.
predictions of the end of the world in 2012 Is the world really going to end in 2012 ??? should we believe it ?
right so everyone is going on about the world ending in 2012. I looked it up the other day and the guy we predicted this was called Nostradamus and most of his predictions were true, such has twin towers getting destroyed and princess Diana dying in a car crash, also he predicted that he was going to die and then the next day he died. Then he made the prediction of 2012 when the world is going to end. also in California there is a volcano that has not erupted and it was meant to erupt in 2008 or something like that and if it erupts then it will wipe out USA. Also apparently a meteor is meant to crash into earth because it is heading our way.
what do you think is it true or not ????
i dont know if i should believe it maybe the world might end or maybe a new world might start maybe a new era could happen who knows !!!
No, it isn't. No, you shouldn't believe it.
Nostradamus never predicted any of those things. His predictions were quite vague. He never clearly predicted anything. People who claim that he did only come up with these supposed predictions after the fact.
No volcano is MEANT to erupt at any particular time. If any of the California volcanoes erupted, they certainly wouldn't wipe out the USA.
Meteorites hit the Earth every day. There is no body of any significant size on a collision course with Earth.
You seem to have been going to crackpot websites and believing the nonsense you read there.
Here is an excellent website that covers all the various claims about 2012 and about the charlatans who are promoting it. Go to it and read about the things that have you concerned. They give sources for their information and they aren't selling anything. The others are NASA Senior Scientist Dr. David Morrison, Dr. Donald Yeomans of JPL Near Earth Object Program, and Dr. Neil DeGrasse Tyson, Director of the Hayden Planetarium, all saying that the 2012 tripe is….well, tripe.
