Where do I get emergency food supplies?
I am having trouble finding locations, even though I know there is a food bank. I have lost my job and am getting one more paycheck. I have never taken assistance before, and am a middle class person, but I just can't pay the grocery bill.
Contact your County Food Bank. They will assist you in your time of need. It's not as bad as you think. Also apply for "Food Assistance" from your County. Most use a Debt Card system, so you're not looking like a welfare person. There are thousands that have had to get assistance across the country. Some of those are the victims of Bernie Madoff, so they were extremely well to do, but because they have nothing left, they've had to go on the Food Bank road. The food banks will also provide you with Church locations that distribute food during the weekdays. You'll be amazed at how many locations there are near you! Usually the only thing you need is an ID with a picture to get food. There are also locations with new clothes and shoes too. Call them on Monday and get the help.

How can you carry exrta water food,and tools,emergency supplies in your trunk and still have room for grocs?
I have a small car and I can't..but I have water, first aid kit and a blanket in case I get stalled somewhere.

Have a "intubation kit" fully stocked with medical...?
supplies. It is a professional Emergency Technician (EMT, Ambulance) bag. I would like to know if anyone out there has any idea how much this is worth. The kit is even stocked with numerous vials such as 'epinephrine', 'dopamine' and 'sodium hydrochloride' and even a mini sharps container in the side pocket. Someone out there has some clue to what the value is. Thanks! btw...after trying to price some of the big medical supplies inside the kit we know retail price for one of the items is $660...
Well, first off this kit was not acquired illegally in any way. If I had actually stolen such a thing why would I be on here telling on myself??? Both my father and me have been trying to return it to someone for a little over 2 weeks now...no place has claimed it and won't bother with it if it's not theirs. We are clueless as to what to do with it next...so here I am.
Epinephrine and dopamine are both drugs available only by prescription, so to have them in your possession is probably not legal. Turn it in to the police. If you get caught trying to sell it, you could be in serious trouble.

Emergency Medical Kits Bivy 2.0 Review
Is there anyone out there that can relate to having severe anxiety??
I need someone to talk to about this. My blood pressure right now is 148/94. i was just wondering if anyone has any tips to make me relax and bring my blood pressure down. i bought a blood pressure kit tonight at walmart and when i took my blood pressure it said i needed to seek medical attention i know it sounds crazy but i fear that if i go to the emergency room it will get much worse and i will have a stroke or a heart attack. emergency rooms make me extremely uncomfortable and seeing all the people rushing around me makes it worse. Ive had a few beers which usually helps me but its still bad right now and i would like to find a better way than drinking to help me calm down....so does anyone go through this like i do that has any suggestions for me??
There are a lot of desensitizing techniques that might work well in your situation, but my wife and I have run across something that is so simple that it's almost embarrassing. It's called the "emotional freedom technique" or EFT. Go to www.emofree.com
All it is is tapping on acupressure points...it's free ..you can download the manual. We have used it succesfully for almost every problem we have [since the magority of problems are emotional in nature] They have a vast data base that includes your problem.
