survival pack

What items should I put in a 'Survival Pack'?
My brother is leaving town in a few days and I want to get him a gift.
He's driving to his new home - 1500km away! Its a long drive and will take him and a friend all day to do it.
Anyway, I want to make him a road trip "Survival Pack".
What items should I include in the pack?
I want the items to be fun yet practical....
Thanks!
What a fun idea!
You could make up a CD of a crazy mix of music, jumping from techno to Elvis to metal to Beethoven to Corvus Corax (q.v. youtube) to Frank Sinatra to Johnny Cash ... you get the idea.
My family always kept a wet wash cloth in the car during road trips, just because the eats we also kept in the car would get our hands sticky.
I always have a nice, firm pillow that can be wedged between my head-neck-shoulder and the side window so that I could doze without my head sliding down the inward-slanted right hand wall and waking me up.
Fruits, nuts, sunflower seeds--small, nibble-sized finger foods that you don't have to take your eyes off the road to consume. Beef jerky is my favorite, especially home made.
Water, juice, sports drinks.. Soda pop is bad because it goes right through you, unless you're trying to force them to take frequent "rest stops."
A cooler and a couple of packs of Blue Ice (tm) for the above goodies.
Extra plastic bags for the shells, cores, pits...
Since there will be two in the car -- books that can be read aloud in small bits which will provoke conversation, such as "One-Minute Mysteries," "It Was a Dark and Stormy Night," "The Rest of the Story" (Paul Harvey), quiz games (like Trivial Pursuit) or logic puzzles. A travel guide might be interesting, if there is one that covers the route they're taking.
Audio books for when the passenger takes a nap. I listened to the BBC radio broadcast of The Hobbit (on tape) all the way from San Francisco to Los Angeles. Had I not been entertaining kids with it, I would have rotated it with other books just to keep up some variety.
I'd take a pass on the hand-held electronic game. That might entertain the passenger but it's a conversation killer.
Movies. Nah, just kidding.
A digital camera. Tell them you expect to see a hundred photos of the trip, fifty photos of the new place, posted soon after they arrive.

How to install a Left 4 Dead Survival pack from a USB flash drive?
So My friend does not have Xbox live,so I downloaded the free Survival pack for Xbox 360 and I put it on my flash drive. How to install it or just make it work.Anything?
I plunged the USb in,I dont know how to install it from there,But it find the music
I ment Uploading the DLC into the Xbox from my USB.
If you are trying to copy it across from the PC version, I am afraid that it almost certainly will not work. The coding required on the Xbox is very different to the PC, and so I would not expect the two formats to be compatible.
And even then, is it even possible to plug a flash drive into an Xbox? I don't think it is.
