do you think 2012 is really the end? oris it just a myth?


We had two earthquakes already this year killing more than 220,000 people in Haiti and in hundreds now in Chile. As the result it has been predicted Hawai is going to get severe tsumani.

Is this all connected or you think the end of the world in 2012 is a myth

Y2K, Y2K, I'm getting sick of hearing that! People are so naive. On Jan. 1st of the year 1 how many years have passed? None that's how many. So on Jan. 1st. of 2000, 1999 years have passed. On Jan. 1st of 2001 the Millenium change took place. The real Y2K. Not the computer glitch deal. At that time Bush was being ushered into the White House, and in that year 9/11 happened beginning what could be the start of WW III. I'd say the real Y2K was very eventful. If your using that as a basis for nothing happening in 2012 I'd say prepare for the worst!

It's just myth.

Statistically, there is a 100% chance of any doomsday prediction being false. So don't worry about it.

2012, the world ending? no?


this isnt much of a question but more of a statement, i honestly dont think the world will end in 2012 just because some nutty scientist says it will doesnt mean anything, Only God knows when it in the bible it says something about "No one will know when it ends" well why does every "know" that its gonna end. It wont end. The Mayans probably just ran out of room on their giant rock calendar or maybe the guy died or something hahaha :D

ok, so as u kno, there has been talk about the world ending in 2012. i dnt understand this. im not saying this isnt possible but im saying they shuldnt act lyke they kno xactly wen all this iz gon go down, no one knows. as a christain i believe that GOD is the only one whu knows. Predictions of doom in 2012 are a bunch of fairytales, made up by people who want to sound important but didn't take enough science in school. Every single one of their claims can easily be disproved. There will be no pole shift, Planet X/Nibiru, deadly solar storm, rare alignment, photon belt nor any other of the made-up nonsense. It's just a heap of garbage.
Age group: Old enough to have seen this tedious end-of-the-world garbage before.

If a comet appears without a tail does that mean we are looking at it head on?


And if we are looking and seeing it head-on is it coming towards the Earth? The Mayan Calendar ends in 2012.
Someone here on Yahoo put it down as 12/12/2012. I read that Comet 17P/Holmes is in the Northern Skies and looks pretty fuzzy right now. All that dust reflecting light, a comet with no tail.

If you can see its tail then you aren't looking at it head-on. If you were, then the tail would be behind it, out of your view.

And since the Earth rotates about the Sun, if you are seeing it head-on right now then it won't be head-on in a while later because the Earth will have moved out of the way.
