aztec calendar end of the world 2012
The day the world ends?
so i went and saw the movie "Knowing". If you dont know what its about, its about the end of the world and how Nicholas Cage gets this paper predicting it from 50 years ago. The movie scared the $hit out of me.
People are saying the world is going to end in 2012.
The Mayan (or Aztec, can't remember) calendar also ends in 2012.
There is talk about super solar flares occuring in the next few years. When people say "few" that often means "three".
So what do you all think about this?
Im not exactly religious but a family relative of mine is super religious and told me that after every bad event, it means the lord is closer to coming back to earth. so if the Bible is right, it would mean the world cant "end" because the "lord" will have no one to come back to, right?
Our econmy sucks, and everything is basically war zone. Whats going to happen?
Movies are for entertainment, be entertained. The end of the world has been predicted about every 10 years since 1890. All of those predictions have been wrong and so the odds are that so is this next one.
The economies of many countries are actually doing very well. Canada, India and China for examples.
If you were ever in a war zone, you wouldn't compare your current situation to one. You are very fortunate. Stay positive and live your life without fear.
There are many who believe there is no God. Believe it or not.

World Ending in 2012?
So I am graduating in 2012. Every time the topic of our graduation comes up, someone mentions to world ending in 2012 "according to the aztec calendar."
Mainly i am wondering if there is any type of evidence to back this up.
