Hey me and my friends were looking for a cool game we can play co-op I think we really want a zombie game but not like an arcade shooter like zombie apocolypse but a scary zombie survival, or a strategy shooter any thing were we can stay up late online and play
I don't know about zombies, but some good coop games on the PSN store are Trine and Warhawk (Split screen online). Hope this helps.

*Cat's Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut (I actually have read this one. It takes place before and during an apocalypse.)

*The Dead by Mark E. Rogers (This is supposed to be different from typical zombie stories. I'm going to give it a try someday.)
*Dying to Live: A Novel of Life Among the Undead by Kim Paffenroth
*Deadfreeze by Anthony Giangregorio
*The Dead Shall Inherit the Earth by Vince Churchill
With the exception of Cat's Cradle, I know nothing about the content of these books, whether or not they contain anything that might be offensive to you, or even if they're well-written. These are just a few things I plan to read later on.

After reading Max Brook's "Zombie Survival Guide" I have started assembling my supplies. So what in your opinion is an absolute need during the zombie apocalypse?
Brains. Preferably your own. Still inside your skull.

Survival of the group, (not human race)
Groups greater than ten you noob! Once you get to an area that can be defended, the more hands you have the better. There's also the matter of the need to produce food. You'll have to be farmer-soldiers.
The more people you have the better. Besides, if there are more people around you can hide while they get eaten and take the heat off you.
