Is the world really going to end on december 21 2012?
Is 21 dec 2012 be a new life in earth or dooms day coz according to quran it says that doomsday falls on the day of muharram and 21st december is muharram [ friday] i'm really confused!!

There is no reputable scientist that will say or agree that there is any 'proof' at any of all this doomsday junk. Name even one. You can't because there are none. No Mayan prediction. No Nostradamus prediction. No enormous solar flare. No pole shift. No meteor impact. No Galactic alignment. No planet x. No planet Nibiru. "They" are not building underground bunkers. Nothing at all will happen.
What you saw was a commercial for a Hollywood movie. The producers want you to go to their movie so they can have your money in their pockets. There is no superstition involved. There is no ancient prophecy. The only thing that motivates this entire hoax, mass fear among teens, and lack of common sense, is Greed. Pure greed. It's the producer's job to make it look as real as they can.

December 21, 2012- The End of The World
Does anyone Truly believe that the world will end on 21 december 2012 as the Mayans foretold?
As most of you may know there is allot of hype around the world ending on the 21st of december 2012. This is when the mayan calender ends. I was wondering if anyone truly believe that this is going to happen and if it is all just speculation and theories or if there is actually any real proof that this could happen?
The Maya didn't foretell it and no, I don't believe it. It really isn't a question of belief though. It is a matter of facts. There are no facts to back the doomsayers' claims.
. The 2012 doomsday scenarios are nothing but wild speculation by the scientifically challenged. It is just people making money off books, advertising, "survival kits", and whatever else they can dream up to sell.
There are no scientific predictions, except that 2012 is expected to be a normal year.
There were no ancient prophecies concerning 2012 until they were made up in 2003.
Here is an excellent website that covers all the various claims about 2012 and about the charlatans who are promoting it. Go to it and read about the things that have you concerned. They give sources for their information and they aren't selling anything. The others are NASA Senior Scientist Dr. David Morrison, Dr. Donald Yeomans of JPL Near Earth Object Program, and Dr. Neil DeGrasse Tyson, Director of the Hayden Planetarium, all saying that the 2012 tripe is….well, tripe.
