2012 end of the world part 1 Scientist predict the end of the world in 2012?
So I have been reading all this stuff about the world ending in 2012. Never really belied it until I read that the storms that have been happening are part of the world ending. I read today in the sun magazine that September it starts with a floor, than an earthquake, hurricanes, tornadoes, states that have never gotten snow will get snow and all this weather stuff. 7 reasons why the world will end. The ones that freaked me out are 2-5. Is this true? Made up? Could it happen? Are we in trouble? I just want to know if there is a big chance.

Just like "Loose Change" fooled a lot of people into thinking that 9/11 was a conspiracy by the government using handpicked soundbites and hearsay and no hard evidence, despite the fact that thousands of witnesses, victims, and actual experts contradicted what was presented in that "documentary"?
2012 is just the latest "end times" fad; a new one comes along every few years or so. The last one was 6/6/06... before that, 2001, before that, 2000, before that, 1984... and so on back across the ages for thousands of years. For some reason, some people just love the idea that the world is going to end in their lifetimes; the only reason I can think of for this bizarre behavior is the same morbid curiosity that compels rubberneckers to gawk at traffic accidents, thereby causing more traffic accidents... but on a bigger scale. After 2012 comes and goes, someone somewhere is going to cook up the next great dreaded date and everyone will flock to THAT date, swearing up and down it's "the end of the world".

Why is busta rhymes so crazy?
Most of his albums in the 90s had creepy themes for the most part. You know all that bull about how the world was supposed to end in 2000? Well, busta rhymes was just a bit too obsessed with that theory. First on "The Coming" (1996), he's screaming about "there's only 4 years left!", then on "When disaster strikes" (1997), he's talking about preparing for the final world front. And last but not least, on "Extinction level event" (1998), he's shouting "there's only 1 year left!". Now 2000 comes, and the earth is still intact, so shouldn't busta rhymes feel stupid? I'm surprised he hasn't put out an album about the 2012 theory.
Maybe he was talking about the state of hip-hop.... what a clever bastard!
