i had a dream with the hindu god ganesha meaning?
if you are hindu or know about this religion please help.. last night i had a wired dream that 2012 came and that the whole world was ending there was like a big like hurricanes or something but i was trying to tell everyone to go to india from some reason and well they didn't listen but i went with my husband and the statue of some Elephant became alive and put water at all the people and he put water on me too like a blessing cuz when we got out of the water we survived and everyone els in the whole world died.. but i was so happy the Elephant blessed me cuz he put water on me too... i asked a hindu girl and she said the gods name is ganesha... can any1 tell me what could it mean? thanks
Yeah that's Ganesha. I don't think all people will literally die in 2012, I think world is becoming too materialist resulting in environmental degradation and all other thinks (hurricanes) and ancient spiritual teaching from India (U telling people to go to India) which would bless the world with new nectar of spirituality. U may search the internet for more, there is a magazine Hinduism Today published from US mainly by American converts to Hinduism, U may contact them may be they might help. Anyway very interesting.

In the way population is exceeding no doubt world will come to an end ....There will be more tsunamis,floods,volcano eruption and earth quakes ,because of the pressure we are putting on earth and dong nothing to save mother nature..

The end of the world in 2012?
The Mayans and Egyptians have predicted a disaster in 2012 and some say it will be the end of the world. Some Hindu's also say it will be the end of the Kalyug and we will enter a new age (Satyug) but does anybody believe these predictions? They seeem silly but should we ignore them or not?
Please feel free to express any views you have on the topic; whether you believe its nonsense or something will actually happen?
The Mayans and Egyptians have predicted nothing of the sort.
The Mayan Long Count calendar clicks over from 12.19.19.17.19 to 13.0.0.0.0 on 21st December 2012. That's all there is to it. It's the same as our calendar changing from 1999 to 2000. The Mayans themselves never predicted the end of the world would happen at that time.
All the doomsday predictions attached to this date are, without exception, unscientific nonsense, perpetrated by frauds and hoaxers.
