May 21, 2011 to October 21, 2011 - Rapture and Judgment?
Ok...so I never heard of this before until yesterday and I started doing a tiny bit of research. Before, the consensus was that the world was ending in 2012. (not that I believe it, I just mean what was being discussed). Now I read that the prediction is that May 21, 2011 is the rapture and following that is 5 months of hardship and plagues on earth after which the world ends on October 21, 2011. I've never heard this before and here's my question.
For those believing in this, can you explain further? Or for those who don't believe it, also explain why it's unlikely. I appreciate all information from believers and skeptics (with reason other than being silly for 2 points)
For those people telling me to stop believing in the end of the world...I NEVER stated I believe in the end of the world. I read something yesterday that I found interesting and I just wanted the opinions of people who have heard/researched this.
The group that claims May 21, 2011 as the rapture of "true believers" and Oct. 21, 2011 as the destruction of the physical world is headed by Harold Camping of Family Radio. You should know that he also predicted the world would end in Sept. 1994 and then Nov. 1994 and then spring 1995. He went silent for awhile and reemerged with the message that everyone should leave their church and listen only to Family Radio. His followers believe that he is the endtime prophet. Their message is basically that God doesn't love all people, God only loves those that listen to Harold Camping. There is nothing that you can do to change God's mind, but if you agree with them, it makes you look better at least to them. They don't think that God wants us to literally take care of those who are oppressed or poor or hungry. They believe that the only thing God calls us to do is spread the word that the world is ending. Enough said.

ok i dont really believe at the 2012 doomsday i think is its more a way of making money and it is also cruel, i think only God knows when the world is going to end, for the only ones that the world is ending is for those who have cancer and diseases, we need to admire and learn them because they dont spend their time thinking about how they are going to die they enjoy their time,, (my father is prof of that), ok today i heard about the Web bot and at first i was very very worried but i dont quite understand how it works, also i cant find mch nformation about it, do you know aby reliable source? and another question that i have i know it says that the world is going to end on the 2012 but does it says anything about the years after that? 2013 2014... 2050? and yes i know it was pretty accuarate about the stock market going down on october but how accuarte can it be for a doomsday?
How is it making money? And who is making the money? The Mayans?
Basically, 2012 was just the end of their calander. They had lots of "endings" actually, after that, they just start over.
