The world will continue. In one form or another. What we are concerned with is, will we continue. Mother earth will not care if we disappear. If we burn all our resources and die from global warming, she will balance herself eventually...she did it before, same exact thing happened before with extreme levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. And if she is hit with an asteroid, she will be here, we will not. If the sun runs out of energy and explodes. She will split and live on as dust and rock. It doesn't matter if the world ends, we will all die, at some point.

You mentioned I-Ching. Have you read more about that? I am talking about Terence McKenna, Timewave Zero, The Singularity, etc. It actually makes a lot of sense in many way. Most people are just skeptical and always will be. As for me I'm excited for what will happen.
