No way. My 30 year mortgage goes well beyond that. The bank will never let me out of it just because the end of the world might happen.

ROBERT LEITZ-EINSTEIN UNIFICATION THEORY-STRING THEORY-2012-END OF DAYS-PART 19
what is the difference between this theory of the world ending in 2012 and any other theory in the past?
What makes this prediction more true than others predictions about the end of the world?
First of all it's not a theory it's a prophesy hoax. Let's call it what it really is.
The difference between this hoax and hoaxes in the past is that today we have Internet. It's easy for the hoaxers to spread misinformation world wide with no or little effort. People think that what they read on the Internet is true and if they read the same thing on many different web pages then it's absolutely true. That idea is false of course, but it still lingers on in the minds of people. It's easy to put up a web page that looks serious and factual and also put out impressive names, titles and supposed information to fool people into thinking that it is real. It doesn't take much skill or effort to post something on youtube to verify what your fake web page says and it won't take you long to spread the information to a series of blogs. Those who are really skilled at it will have their fake web page at the top 20 of Google searches within hours. It has gone viral and you can't stop it from spreading.
If you look at the spread of the 2012 hoaxes you'll first of all find that the "Mayan Prophesy" was created in the 90's but it didn't gain popularity back then because the "Millennium hoaxes" were still very active and the year 2000 was closer than 2012. Once the "Mayan" hoax gained popularity, after 2000, other "2012" hoaxes appeared, sometimes as jokes, sometimes so that people could make money on it all. That's where we are today and there are still new hoaxes created. The hoaxers use anything they can that might give them some form or credibility, Nostradamus (even though his prophesies span 1500years more into the future), anything scientific (even though scientists keep denying it and put our warnings against the hoaxes) or even religion and holy books. Anything goes as along as it can fool someone.

1) scientifically planet x does not exist. History channel does not insist that their programs are scientifically accurate.
2) there is no affect on us whatsoever.
3) as to the galactic alignment, the solar system has been in the same plane to the galactic center for 4.5 billion years. It has survived all that time and you can expect the same in the next three years.
In fact why wait three years for the alignment? It is aligned right now, this very minute.
