To all out there about 2012 Mayan Predictions...Hoax?
Most people believed that the Mayans believe that our world would end in 2012 and that there calendar runs out completing there 13th baktun
However a 14th baktun is cleary in there Calendar, and there really true prediction for the end of the world is October 13th, 4772.
Nothing is gonna happen in 2012, as it did with the prophices of 1999, 2000, 2005, and 2006.
You are correct, sir. As a person who has spent pretty much every day of my life since 6th grade worrying about the Armageddon, I have researched this topic in depth. What you say is pretty much dead on accurate.

Mayan Long-Count Calendar - "end" date is actually 2011...?
Has anyone else heard that the real "end of the cycle of ages" is actually supposed to take place on October 28, 2011? How did everyone come to the 2012 "end" theory? When (and where) was this studied first? Anything written about it prior to the last 20 years?
